We loved the idea of using the spikey star block partnered with the nine patch style to create this stunning quilt. Using a 9" block, the repeat just gets better and better with more blocks. This quilt is a scrap lovers dream, lots of backgrounds, mediums and darks make the quilt exciting to the viewer. Busy backgrounds was our choice because the larger spaces fill quickly. Regardless of the color choices or block combinations that you use, we hope you think about the journey Amelia Earhart undertook and the undeniable path she paved for future generations of women.

Voices Heard Again
The Voices from the Past Series are patterns that provide you with curiosity for their subjects. It is my desire to create a quilt for each. Once my Betsy Ross is complete I will decide who will be next. As an aside, I made the Harriet Tubman as a wedding gift. I gave the bride a mini-biography about her character and strength. The bride was delighted.
